As a small business marketer, I came into self-publishing after creating book launches for a publisher. I saw the ugly side of book publishing - the scams and dishonesty. I decided to shift what I knew about traditional and digital marketing into systems designed to help teach authors about relationship building. Author marketing helps you gain visibility. Author, you have to be seen to be found to reach your unique goals.

This is a custom coaching program designed with one outcome - to help you reach your unique author marketing goals. I use my proven coaching framework to walk you through building and growing your platform to help you gain the visibility and voice you need to help you reach your goals.
What to expect
During this 12-week program, we'll begin with what I like to call a closet clean out. Together, we'll evaluate your current platform, skills, and knowledge. Then we'll polish, build, and put together a plan to help you grow your platform. We remove what is no longer serving you and find tools, resources, and skills you need to move forward.
Get ready to work and expect homework every week. This is a live, one-on-one coaching program via Zoom. We meet on the same day at the same time, for 12 weeks. In addition to our hour together, plan to spend about an hour each week on homework designed to hone the skills you're learning and prepare you for next steps.
I'll never ask you to do things that don't serve your goal. This is why one-size-fits-all programs don't work. If you don't want to lip sync on TikTok, then we're skipping it. Want more traditional marketing options? I can help with that too. I'm on top of trends and ever-changing strategies to make sure you're prepared.

By the end of 12 weeks, you'll have the tools and knowledge you need, along with a solid marketing plan that includes your next steps.

Non-Fiction Nerd Consulting
This is for the non-fiction author who's written probably what you could reasonably describe as, your most expensive lead magnet ever. That's okay. Your non-fiction baby has the potential to change your career trajectory. But you only have one shot to launch. You don't want to mess this up. Let me help you and your team create a strategy they'll implement with you to help your book reach maximum exposure on launch.

You know just enough about marketing to understand a book launch is essential to the success of your new book.
You're six to four months from launch, your book is in it's final edit, and cover is approved.
Your VA or staff are amazing people who support you whole-heartedly but definitely need direction (just like you do) to prepare for your book launch. And they're ready to help.
Together, we'll engineer a custom, non-fiction book launch for your target audience that includes, but may not be limited to: launch team, editorial reviews, email marketing/list building strategies, network marketing, social media, and more - for launch and beyond.
This is a consulting service, not to be confused with my done-for-you service. Based on your team's skills and your goals, I will create a plan for you and guide your team through implementation.

Done-For-You Marketing
This is for the full-time author or non-fiction author who doesn't have the time, skills, or desire to manage marketing alone. I work as your marketing manager to provide custom marketing support.
What you can expect:
If you're reading this, it's likely you understand you need help and can't do this on your own. This is a fit for you, if:
You have a thriving business and a great book that has helped your business grow. You want to scale your business with the help of your book and you can no longer manage the marketing on your own.
You know you need an author marketing plan to help you get in front of your audience, but you don't know what to do and don't have the time or staff to figure it out.
You're an author, expert, and want to do more teaching and speaking but you need greater visibility. You need someone to represent you and work alongside you to do the legwork to make this happen.
This program is scaled, based on the level of support you require - social media management, podcast pitching, content marketing strategy, blogging, email marketing, research, etc.
I take on a limited number of clients with a minimum six-month commitment. I'm happy to speak with you to find out if this is right for you, but there is currently a wait list for this service.

Don't wait to set up a time to speak with me. If you're thinking about your book launch options, plan ahead. You'll need at least six months to plan a launch with an established following, longer if you need to build an author platform (website, social media, email list, etc.)

I treat every project as if it were my own - I cannot work with everyone.
